| SCX10 Unimog
I've been into crawlers for a few years now, have a scx10 and a wraith and decided I want another rig. I settled on building a unimog based on a scx10 frame. Started by cutting the body and stripping the scx, also had some locked up wheels with super swampers on them. Then a mock up of the body and ended with with a finished front end for the fab work. Next will be the rear fab and a xr10 mod for the front. I only have weekends to work on this, and will try for weekly updates until it's finished. Last pic is next to my buddy's rig just for reference. Lots of things still up in the air like motor esc etc |

looking good, there's going to be a pair of 1.9 mogs in the diablo crawlers , i just started building one too with the G-speed lcg frame are you planning on having an interior? I tried mocking up a wraith interior the other night it could work with some trimming |

Well I skipped a week on the update as there wasn't much to post about. But I now got a decent amount of work done. First was finishing the bed and rear suspension mounts. Next was the xr10 mod to the front axle including OD gears and locked up no slop locker. Knuckles will be flipped and zero ackerman plates will be used on the steeering to maximaze the effect of the mod. Savox 1230 is next on the list as well as making all the links. Also still need to mount the body so it looks a bit off in a couple pics. Also a side note all hardware is being replaced with stainless hardware from Mr. Metric along the way. |

I ran the wraith interior in my unimog but it had to be cut down a lot, I replaced it with the hpi mini trophy truck drivers and those fit much better.
