Scx10 ii d90 comp truck

So I’m new to the rc world having only owned a handful of rc cars I decided to build a Scx10 ii kit with a d90 body my plan for this is to replicate a d90 completion truck something similar to the ultra 4 stuff

Sc10 ii kit chassis
Hobbywing xerun axe 540 2300kv motor and wax combo
Savoxs high torque cordless digital servo black edition
Spectrum receiver
Pro line bf Goodrich Krawler 1.9 tyresj

The ones on the chassis pic are the original bumpers with the kit, I’ve done away with them now and designed my own bumper mounts and bumpers to hopefully suit to look I’m going for, got the front bumper all designed and fitted which are pictured above, I’ll get pictures up once I’ve got both bumper and rock sliders fitted

Front arches cut tonight just waiting on parts for any more progress, waiting on the links to shorten the wheel base and servo for the 4ws then I can cut the rear to match the front to give maximum clearance with articulation, hopefully draw up the arch design tonight ready to be printed

Quick update I have now shortened the wheelbase, made a prototype wheel arch I’m not 100% think I will change it slightly also designed the rear bumper just got to decide how I wanna cut the rear and now!

Started the cage today not bad to say I didn’t have a bender far from perfect but it’s only going to get bashed few more bits then I’ll start tigging it together!

Cheers man it’s getting there slowly haha I’ll try get more posted up soon, I didn’t even know you could get them tbh just remade the rear arches hopefully should make it look a lot better need to get them mounted and then I can start with sorting all the body work blemishes

Really liking this build. Ready to see how it turns out. I have been wanting to build a hardbody rig just haven't jumped into it yet, but this build is giving me some inspiration.
