Cool idea, but don't you think it takes away from the scale look quite a bit?

It would be sweet if someone could make a leaf with a Johnny Joint. That's about the same concept. I'd run leafs if I could get better flex. Good idea

Seems like you could get some funky side to side movement if the screws loosen at all on the ends. You'll have to keep us posted how it holds up to some abuse

mine doesnt have any mods and i can set my tire ontop of two little 9volt batteries

I have about 3 hours of use on the mod now and haven't touched the springs. All the screws are still tight.
