Default high lift propeller joint/drive shaft e clips

i lost the clips that hold the u joint together on the propeller joint. anyone know the size or possible part number of them with out ordering a new joint assembly ? (i already did that though, but still would like replacements)

i called tamiya and was told they don't even have a parts listing for them. i found a bag of e clips on towers and the smallest size is 2mm, im thinking they are even smaller then that.

I lost one of those on mine too. They aren't listed as a separate part on the manual, it just lists the whole shaft. Take the shaft into Ace, or your local hardware store. They're sure to have a small c-clip for you. I found mine at Ace.

Gents, that is a temp fix. I too have lost them. I would really either consider replacing the entire shaft (pede w METAL YOKES) or watch Ebay for a SET of axles. Check out the For Sale thread...

i broke one once in a pull off with another lighter truck.. I just bought a replacement for it. Good call on the c clip at the store. I think mine was more than a c clip.. But its been so long, i cant remember now..

There's a good idea!

Badhoopty, great tip with the shrinkwrap. FYI, the Losi Micro-T wheel e-clips that hold the wheels on the axles are pretty small and are sold in packs...maybe too small but thought I'd throw it out there as a possiblity.
