The stock car wheels and hummer wheels are popular, and the tamiya BFG tires and hummer tire as well.

Try reading the sticky thread in the 1.9 section at Scale4x4.

The compound on them isnt very good at all, you might have luck narrowing and sectioning some sort of 2.2

i dont know i may have rip off bfgs, but theyre very soft. i have had four sets and this was the softest so these i kept. the others were not real soft at all.

seems to me that what i have seen most hack up 2.2 tires to fit 1.9 if you want any real traction, or try to thin one of the stiff bfg's, using a dremmel sanding drum on the inside of the tire. becareful tho as not to "burn"through the tire, it helps make them a little more soft and flexy. but its time consuming

I just recently narrowed and reduced some Moabs and must say the heighth and width is just what I was looking for. RC4WD make some great choices although only the Mud Slingers are actually out at this time but the other two that are coming are looking very good! Some are just too short for me but it's all in what you really prefer.

the side walls from the highlift fit the tread from proline 2.2 dirt hawgs... the buggy fronts are the right width.....the rears would be somewhat wider..... its sorta like a retread..... the soft rubber of the hawgs makes a big difference... |
