Default FJ40 High Lift Build...

Well, after thinking about the whole scale build I decided a body I had lying around forever collecting dust. I gave my Pro-line Bushwacker body to Power_Wagon for a sweet paint job. He finished the spray on the same day I got my Tamiya Hi-Lift roller in the mail. I quickly mounted my 2.2 rock lizards to my new set of Junfac BLs for mockup. The build will be a 1.9 in the end. I just wanted some tires on the thing and all I had lying around were 2.2s. Some RC4WD 1.9 Rock Crusher XTs should be arriving soon though. Havent decided on rims yet. RCP Landy Scale Steelies might be on the build list. On to the mock-up pics. I have a LOT of work to do on this thing....

Roller Chassis...

Styrene FJ40 grill will replace the Pro-Line front clip...

Update:

...added some stickers, windshield wipers, started the FJ40 grill, diamond plate rear quarters to cover up the misplaced tail light mold, and did some scale body sanding.

Sorry for all the cell phone pics. I never have my good camera in the garage with me for some reason.

This build might take me forever but should be worth it in the end...

I like how you added the diamond plate like the LC body had. It's a detail that is sorely missing from the bushwacker.
