| That guy from Mortal Kombat!
I was lucky enough to win the Snowman contest RC4wd had a few weeks ago. Well I picked the Sub zero scaler. First off its huge, second its really heavy. It came mostly assembled, the tires needed to be mounted to the wheels, and it came with a big pack of extra hardware plus a pair of extra axle cases. The assembly of the wheels probably takes longer then building the whole kit (if I had to do it), but they are worth it the wheels really set this crawler off. If I had to make a suggestion on the wheels though, I would say make some of the hardware mock and not functional, I don't think 20 screws per wheel is necessary. Its hard to tell how big this crawler really is, so for a little example I shot it next to my 2.2 comp berg. For comparison the track width of the berg is 11" and it has 3" of belly (3.5" at droop). This is about as far as I have gotten. It just came in last night as I figure it out I will fill you guys in. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Ty |

That thing is HUGE! I think you might need to upgrade the axle cases and put a Monster Max setup in it.... |

Good question, just got it last night and have not had any time to get anything into it, the tires are not actually mounted to the beadlocks yet. I imagine though that it is going to be pretty tipsy. It seems really narrow and is super tall, so side hilling might be impossible, but the wheel base is pretty long so it might climb pretty well. Hopefully it gets together this weekend. Thanks guys, Im still blow away at how large it is. | |||||
