Default 2.2 Scout, nothin' fancy

Here's a few of my Scout 2.2 trail truck, clean and simple:

Axial axles, trans, links and skid
X-Trail chassis
pede short shocks, running inboard of chassis
stock Scorpion rims, D.A.'d to bare metal
Pro-Line Flat Rocks, star cut foams
C.C. Sidewinder
Hi-tec 645 mg servo
Custom made steel f/r bumpers

cool paint, and a killer looking scout.

i always loved these xtrail builds.

Thanks, Gyrene! I was going for the vintage look. Yours is definitely a sweet ride, love the metal work. I had to rush this project so it'd be ready to run for a planned outing. I'm sure I'll add some things along the way, what you've done with yours has inspired me to take it further :grin:.


Thank you, Crunky. I have another X-Trail sitting here, waiting for time and funds. I haven't decided which way to go yet, maybe 1.9. Such a versatile platform to work with.

Thanks guys. The funny thing is, I ordered a Blazer body (Tower Hobbies)and recieved this one instead. I wasn't too happy at first, but it's growing on me .
