Default Spare tires ?

I have a Axial Scorp with a Pro-Line tube body.... it sits on 2.2 Mud Slingers.
I bought a single 1.9 tire to use as a spare but it just looked to small.

Who uses the same tire as whats on your rig ? Or do you use a smaller tire ?

Anybody got a single 2.2 Mud Slinger ? A single Axial wheel ?

Use the same tire or it will look funny. I doubt many people would have a spare laying around since most stores sell them in pairs. You could always search the for sale section.

I always get my spares from RPP hobby. They split up sets sometimes and have spares availble. Just keep checking to see.

I use a fullsize spare and I am pretty sure I have a few extra wheels laying around but they are black if that is ok.

I usually run a spare that's slightly shorter, and quite a bit narrower. Here is the spare on my 1.9 rig....a spare the same size as the tires on the truck looks ridiculously huge.

I can't say running a spare on a 2.2 makes much sense to me.

How many 1:1 rigs carry a 500lb (+or-) tire that is 40 to 55" tall on the back of their rig? (besides the military and I guess distance racers)
Just my 2 cents.
I am all for spares on 1.9's though.
