Default crew cab chevy hard body(not clod) new pics!

i took two radio shack monster patrol bodies and i'm making one.
the wheelbase is gonna be about 13"-13.5". i plan on putting lights on it and other scale items.

i have the og pti "transmission" set up as a 6:1 gear reduction going into an axial transmission as my transfer case then to the axles.

im doing the body work for him.
yeah, im teaching him the ropes. helping him out since he does the same for me. looks different now since i cut some more of the 2nd cab off and got the two halves glued together with styrene.

well i finally got the body back and i just painted it "rust" so ill check that in the morning and then paint the bumpers "aluminum" and then the rest of the truck black cuz thats what i got. ill post pics of the body in the am.
my axles and other stuff shouold be here wed. so expect more progress and pics then.

alright well the body still needs a couple coats of krylon fusion burgundy, and the bumpers need another coat a matte clear, but the wheels are done- oh they're painted w/ krylon fusion sunbeam yellow.
also is a before and after of my narrowed redrocks. only did two - im gonna try the dually look.
and a BIG THANKS GOES TO MUTINY22 FOR MY BOWTIE RINGS!

Seriously though, Sweet build man..!! Never saw the Monster Patrol body stretched to an extra cab before..! It came out dam nice..!!!! Keep up the great work..!!!

You one hell of a nice job joining the 2 cabs together, however, why stop there? Why dont you glue in styrene and correct those monster trucked fender wells you have going on there and make this into a killer 1.9 tow rig? You have the skills to fix the fenders if you can join the cabs to gether, now ya just need to step it up again

thanks, but its a crew cab(probably what u meant) im workin on a 1.9
s-10 right now.

actually i made them bigger to accomadate for those tires cuz this is a mud / trail truck. and im workin on a 1.9 right now.
and danielk was the one who did the body work. but i know how to do it all now.

cant wait for my comp / trail run this sunday. especially for some action pics!

well we had a great comp this past sunday and then a trail run afterwards. truck did awsome and was the last truck on the trail.

how waterproof is your servo lol. looks like its pretty well submerged there in those pics, ive never had good luck with servos and water
