If you use a plastic white axle bushing and a bronze cantilever bushing from the TLT kit, it will be a much more snug spacer. You won't have to worry about the pin falling out, and it keeps more gunk out of the bearing.

I did that for the rear but for some reason the front did not have enough room.

You actually don't even need spacers because the wheel pressure from the axle nut being tightened down will hold the pin in place.

Yep, it took second. I had some ESC problems on the third course also, for some reason when I try to go in reverse it would drive forward slowly. I will be replacing the ESC before the next comp.

Here are the results page.

and some pics of it at the comp.

John, I lost the key to the case so Im afraid its gonna have to stay at work with me. Sorry, guess you'll have to build yourself another one. HAHAHA! Seriously, nice work. Been getting lots of questions about it (and the other) ... will prolly bring mines in to put next to it.

Haha! Let me know when you bring yours to work. I'd like to see the case full of crawlers and maybe take a pic.

I'ts hard for me to say but, that is one of the coolest scalers I've seen. When are you going to sell it to me?

Thanks. I really did not do any special fab on this, it was just a little time consuming to get the body and suspension the way I wanted.

I have decided that I am no longer selling rigs that I know I will want to build again, it's just not worth the time spent building these rigs. This one especially because of the way it performs and how easy and fun it is to drive.

If you are serious, I am definitely willing to build you a scaler of your own. And no I am not offering ANYONE else to build a scaler also, so please don't ask.

braceysdad 03-02-2006 12:27 PM

Only if you build it exactly like yours and put the word "stupid" on mine and the words "I'm with stupid" on yours.

braceysdad 03-02-2006 02:28 PM

Yeah, I'm the harry one. My "good buddy" jason hooked me up with that.

badger 03-02-2006 02:38 PM

Fender, I just finished yours, it's being shipped today. :flipoff:

BD, I need to save up some love juice (keeping myself real busy like lately) to give you some extra "traction" on the tires. If this ice pack works I should be able to ship yours out tomorrow, sorry for the delay.

P.S. If you guys don't quit jiber jabering in my thread I am going to ban everyone including myself.

Even with the complement's I am not going to answer that question again. Go back to page 2 and instead of looking at all the pictures read a little of the text, I even posted a link to the exact wheels I used.
