Hey Chris, nice start on your 1st crawler. Axial is always a good place to start. I will tell ya, crawling is very addictive .

Update: Ok thanks to matt I can get my truck to crawl alot better, Add a round of weights to each front tire and took that big bulky battery off the top. Got a Small Battery but had to mount it to the rear axle cause the guy at the hobby shop sold me the wrong one but oh well it works.

Soon to come for this will be the Novak Rooster Crawler Speed Control and 55T Motor Combo. New tires Hot Bodies Rover-EX Rock Crawlers (PINK) with a 2 stage foam.

Sticky shocks......could be bent shafts, lack of oil.....a litttle maintenance does a long way.

Fix or Buy? How is your wallet feeling lately......heavy???????!!!!!!!!!

Clean truck by the way!

Lower that body or better yet, get a scale chassis. Shorten the wheelbase to match the body. Other than that, it looks like you are heading the right directions.

I could lower the body and i think it would look better but it rubs real hard when it starts to flex and as for shorting the wheelbase i think i would have to go with a new chassis wich would be cool and would look better so if you have a suggestion for the chassis i should check into let me know thanks
