| Black Mamba, Dinky RC Series 5 KOH Jeep
When I saw Matt's (Dinky RC) work, I had to have one... So I've been working on this a little, waiting on parts, and finally have enough I think I can start a build thread. Couple of shots thanks to my bud Skidplate while we were at the famous Red Rocks. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] This will have 13-13.5" wheel base. Some parts I'm using: Dual 8711's (yes front and rear steering) Dual winches Axial Trany with all metal gears RC4WD Wheels Mamba Max Pro Brushless motor 3s max amps lipos DX6i RC4WD Punisher Shafts Hand Brothers / custom panhard front and rear Last edited by Agama; 12-24-2010 at 05:52 AM. I wanted a scale looking wheel that met these requirements: 1. huh, scale looking 2. adjustable widths 3. true beadlocks 4. easy to add weight too Here is what I am trying: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |

How long is that chassis nose to tail? If the WB is 13+ it's got to be 15-16". Can't wait to see this thing finished gonna be sick for sure.

You'll love the overdrive wheels, I've got them on all of my rigs and due to the great design I've made a weight system for them and even made a few more different offsets for them |

I'm stoked to see a build thread for this rig. Definitely subscribing to this one. Great choice of wheels, BTW. Those will look great on that rig. |

| She's a roller!
Sitting on it's own now. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Really the credit goes to Dinky RC for building my dream Jeep. I measured the chassis, from the front bumper to the end of the rear is 16 5/8" [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Mandatory flex shot. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I need to get some different hexes, so they will fit all the way into the wheel hub... But at least you can see it as a roller. |
