Default C3 The Rectangle

Time to post up the newest rig ....

anawrecksya had to be replaced, she wasnt wide enough

Since I drive a Scion Xb (the box), it made sence to build a scaler. I purchased the body from a member on here and plans were struck up to build a "skinny" version..

I introduce to you "THE RECTANGLE"

I need to give credit to difuser for all his help.I have been out of town for the last month and a half. Dan has more or less built this rig to the point you see here. I will finish the rest when I pick it up from him at the end of the week.

Specs:

Team3six bucket seats and a custom bench seat for the rear
Axial scx chassis
MSD winch
Hayok winch control
SDS "stacked" transfer case
Tekin T-8 1350 kv
CC MMP
SDS super 300's
Hand bros 3 link
Axial over/under drive gears
Cheapbatterypacks.com 6s elite packs
Vanquish SSZ wheels
Vanquish c hubs for scx axles (if avail in time)
GCM steel axles for scx
Proline swampers
Blah,blah,blah

First thing was a few body mods, chopped 3" out of the middle, boatsided the body and trimed the fenders.

The "stacked" transfer case

Fast forward to some tube work

2 row cage and tube fenders

Stinger and winch mount

Mounting the T-8 low and level required a custom truss for the 3 link

That is several weeks worth of work and many conversations with Difuser...thanks again bud, this truck wouldnt have come to reality with out you

Never thought I would say this, but......That is a bad ass Xb.

Now you need a big Kleenex sticker on the side.

You can call them anything you want.

I know for a fact they will run 80mph all day and still get 30+mpg.

Thanks Justin, thinking moroon or the brick theme.Mr Grim has full creative control over the paint. Since he cant make it to MSD this year ,he is hoping to throw his painting talent out there via this truck. rememeber ,he took best paint last yearAnd he has a soft spot for the box as he owns one also

Looks like a good start Devlin. This one going to have rear steer on it?

Ana will have her own special place on the wall

Definetly will have rear steer for MSD,I may add a driveline dig later...not sure as I dont think any driveline I have set up for dig at this moment will handle the power of the t-8.

Side note : I was able to see the SDS stacked case tonight in person and spend some time testing it in war pigs truck,O boy, this is going to be fun, the vids dont do it justice...sorry about the servo Tim
