| The Diet Tundra (TTC hopeful)
Wanted to get a build thread going here. Trying to get better at documenting and posting. SPECS: SCX rails w/lots of custom tube work Removable tube bed (planning on hard bed) Modified Losi skid w/Traxxas links Losi axles Losi dig trans Losi shocks Losi drivelines Lunsford steering links Custom mounting plate for servos Tekin RS Pro 10.5 Savox SA-1283SG steering servo Savox SH-1250MG dig servo Hitec HS-7940TH winch servo CC BEC Racers Edge glitch buster Futaba 4PL 3 cell Narrowed Tamiya Tundra body VP SSZ Star 2.2 Ripsaws w/C.I. foams This truck was put together for our state champs this spring and I have been to busy to really work on it since. Have been able to get most of the bugs worked out but still have a lot to do. It needs interior and a lot of detail and scale accessories. A few pics Actually got interior started |

I love this build can't wait to see it in Lucia. I am assuming you are going to be running C3 with it also? Clean cuts on the windshield, is the plan to replace with clear with the interior started/done now? |

yep they are bad news is they are 4-40 and the ball mounts in the rod end are hardened and you can't drill them out to 3mm. I picked one up after seeing that but still scratching my head how to use it with Axial goods.

Yes, they are Losi ends. I am using the same setup as AJ on my class one and it works great. The bushings are problematic but not to bad. We have used a carbide cutter that is smaller than the I.D. of the bushing and reamed them out a little. Hope that helps. |

Interior and cage painted, just need to add some detail. I don't want to mount the seats until I can find drivers, which is proving to be a challenge. |
