Thumbs up Toyota Scale Crawler

Been doing some work building a scale Crawler for the Nor-Cal Comps. Here are some pics of it so far. Still need to add a winch, headlights, Steering wheel and driver, bumpers ect....

Maybe I will just put tires on this one and Run It

nice truck, honestly, i would rather run the tlt yota, due to the fact that if something breaks, it's easier to replace the tlt parts, just my 2 cents. both trucks look too very nice....

Wow Wish I had the time to build something like that! Keep those pics coming.

Guess I'm going to have to buy my first scale rig. Anyone want to sell me a nice one

Damn dustin, nice work, now you and dean both have sick bruiser/tlt's. I am uber jealous. I really like how clean everything on your truck is, looks like it all has a functional purpose, very nice indeed.

Thanks for all the complements, and many thanks to Dean for all the help. After i drove Deans scale rig, I had to build one. The scale rigs are a ton of fun to drive

Looks killer Dustin! Too bad you got spoiled by driving the FJ45 in the first comp O well at least it gave you a head start in the points! I think the G Wagen actually ended up in 4th

4 links are for sissy's! Leaf sprung all the way!

I can't wait to lay the smack down on both yours and Dean's 4linker's at the next comp! Just make sure your rigs are not below my miss piggy rig in case I roll.

Damn 4 linker's! Looks great!

hey dustin, do your tires rub at full compression and turning? i mounted my geos so i had another tire/wheel option and noticed that they rubbed alot at the front of the wheelwells. maybe my body just sits lower.

Yea, my tires do rub a little at full compression and turnning but not to bad. I don't think that i have my body as low as you and my front spring are not broken in yet. If i get to much rubbing in the front after the front spring settle, i might cut the fenders a little and put some fuel tubbing on the shock shafts to limit travel.
