Default lifting a honcho ???

hey everybody. a friend of mine had an scx10 honcho and i talked him into selling it last night .i have to get a battery and charger for it.but idk what would be best.i want to lift it to fit my mud slinger 2.2s what all would i have to do to lift it a little maybea couple inches

those are smaller 2.2 tires. unless you mean the giant 2.2 boggers. if its the smaller tires you're talking about all you will need to do is trim the body a little bit

I wouldn't lift it, as far as the suspension goes. You're driveshaft angles could be ruined. I'd suggest massaging the body to accept the bigger tires. You should only trim the front wheel arches just a little. The back should accept about any tire w/ the stock body.

i found a lift (stage 3) for it at ckrc.do the mud slingers or boggers have a deeper tread depth

I did a thread on the same thing yesterday, it's in the scx section under " lift for 2.2s" and I'm going with 2.2 mudslingers as well.
Th mud slinger h th mor aggressive tread than the bogger. And is at 4.8 inches tall.. In my thread there is all kinds of ideas to lift , fit and make fit .
