| Custom Tuber Class 3 4ws
So I have been playing with RC's for about 3 years now. Mostly bashing at first, but for the past 2 years I have been getting a lot more into scale crawlers. We have an incredible shop here in Denver, The Crawl Space, that has multiple comps every week. My son and I try to go on Friday nights and compete with our Wraiths. He has a Poison Spyder that is nicely upgraded and I have been running mine with a 4ws setup. I have been wanting to do a custom chassis for a while and I finally got the ball rolling with Ikaika at The Crawl Space. We ended up going with Scaled Out Fab, who has built a few of his rigs. Basic goals were: 4ws, Ultra 4 looks, Chassis mount servo, internal winch mount, wraith interior fit, and nice and low. I will be cannibalizing my Wraith to get this thing done. Parts used: MMP Roc 412 2 Hitec 7950's 2 Castle BEC's VP links SSD Wheels CI Foams Rockbeast 2's VP C hubs and Knuckles Axial HD Universals Axial HD over/unders Hot Racing AX10 transmission Robinson gears RC4WD fuel cell (electronics box) Futaba receiver to go with 4PLS MIP Drive Shafts Proline PowerStroke shocks Fast Eddy bearings Crawl Space Comp Spec winch Stainless screws |

Got the completed chassis in from Scaled Out Fabrication. It has turned out great. I got a bunch done over the weekend and I will get more pics up as I can.

That chassis is pretty nice but it looks completely different from the first pics you posted up.

Sorry, no thread on the Wraith. It was a kit that I slowly upgraded over 2 years. You are right, the front of the cab is a little different. He made a few changes with the battery tray and made a big space behind the windshield in the firewall. Mamba Pro fits nicely now. |

A quick mock up with skid, trans, axles, links, servos, and interior. Everything fits very well!
