So to make this happen you need to cut behind the door and add 1.5"-2" and made a new bed, here is a picture of a FJ40 that shows what I mean.

The custom frame will be Aluminum and will be set up much like RCMODELex sets up his drive train.

I will also change the rear window. I will look like the real truck. You can see that I cut the plastic off the running boards and read bumper. I will be using a scale motor cover to show off the drivetrain under the hood much like my JK 1/6 build.

No I will be cutting the bed and adding to the top of the bed and changing the rear window. It will have the long body when done. much like the blue toyota that the jeep is sitting on

Change of plans! I'm staying with this wheel base. I will do a coll bed and some other stuff I think you will like though.
