Default Newb jeep crawler

This is my first crawler what do you guys think?

TLT axles
custom aluminum frame
carbon fiber shock mounts
losi tranny
narrowed pede rims
45t integy ( my mamba / axi combo is out for repair)

so far i'm pretty impressed but its not done yet
thinking of doing some kind of cage and cutting out the back of the body
i really like the brushless system

i'll have to work on that
anyone out there running a mamba/axi combo do the all make the ear peircing squeal at slow speeds? this is my first brushless, i'm not sure if they all do that or is it something i have got set up wrong. it kills my dog when i run it.

thanks alot for the comments. this thing doesn't hold a candle to some of the other rigs on this site, but this is only number one of hopefully many.
hey anyone ever strip teeth off of a ring gear in a tlt axle?

Yup its pretty common unfortunately under alot of use. I high recommend bearings/good grease and a few have shimmed the pinion gear for a better mesh. If you do a search im sure youll find the thread on that.

i thought something was missing on the back so i made a sper tire holder and antenna mount. looks a little more balanced now

Very cool, all the attenna needs is a little orange flag Like you see on the trucks out on the trials and dunes

how about a hard top with a roof rack instead of cutting top off of the body.this ones made from some cardboard for looks.

i think i'll try the soft top i have some clear lexan to make some windows
if it works i'll make a rear support for the roof mount that comes up from the rear bumper. i'll post some pics when i make a little progress.
working on a set of rock rings using the home depot conduit washers now.

well off to the store to look for some canvas for the top .
i'll work on the frame for the top tommorrow. i'll get some pics up then with the rock rings on. waiting for the battery to charge in my drill typ couple holes left and the battery dies.
