Default Bronco K2-3L Oregon

Got the scale Bronco up and going finally. We took it out for its first voyage and it performed great.
Thanks to this forum, the vendors, and the for sale section. Here's the layout, I kept it pretty
standard to start with, and it worked great.

K2-3L chassis
TLT Axles locked
Taxxas Hawk tranny locked
Tamiya TA03 shocks
2.2 Swamp Dawgs
Axial Beadlocks
Tower pro servo
LRP esc.
45 turn lathe motor
Traxxas reciever and radio
HPI Bronco body and savage bumpers.
12.5 wheelbase

Here's the SW2 RubiCAN and the Bronco

that looks really good. Have you thought of puting longer shocks on to raise the c.o.g. and then lower the body to make it look a little bit more scale? Just a little thought.

the way k2 madehis chassis they use touring car shocks to keep the chassis and cg low

the chassis really performs on rock even that its so damn low

Actually I had longer shocks when I was first building it, It seems that these work really well with this set up. Limiting your articulation can be a good thing. It kept up well with my SW2, I was impressed. I made the body mounts adjustable so I could lower and raise the body, for different conditions. Thanks for the comments.

I was wondering what pinion and spur everyone is running
on their scale rigs?
I just put a 16 tooth pinion and 87 tooth spur.
That pinion definetly helped, I have a 84t spur to try also.

It looks great!

I like the bumper mounts. Another 101 ways to use the TLT servo mount plates

The TLT servo mounts seem to work great as bumper mounts. I like using the plastic mounts because they give a litttle. Tested the truck for another hour or so on Sunday, and everything held up great. Thanks for the comments.

Beadlocks are great. They went together really smooth, no complaints. I've only got a few hours on them, so I'll keep on testing them.
