Default chevy truggy

i started a scale chevy extended cab truggy for a scale comp. in GA. In Jan.. i have 6 hours off work in the body today and there is more to do. and i started the frame too, but did have brazing rod to start that and it suck. i'll have pics of the frame next week when i go to the weld shop to get it. and here are some pics of the body for now.

hey nice idea... i just pinched a bronco body.... keep in mind that the fenders will need to be longer to meet up with the hood and grill correctly...

i was going to do that but this was my first time doind this to a clod body, maybe i'll do that on the next one.

here are some pics of the chevy body, did start the frame, work and being sick. and my dad did the body work when i was at work. and man do i have a cool dad for doing this for me. and here are the pics.

i did some frame work today. it is almost done just have to make the link mounts and the shock and the tire mounts. it should be a roller at the end of the week. i just have to find a smaller tire for the back of the cage.

looks awesome! the front end looks like this bumper from off road design. i love it!

i started to make the lower links today and found out the drive shaft angle is really bad with the pede tranny. so i'm going to to build a new mount for a e-maxx tranny and that should help with the drive shaft angle and i'll have pics up on friday night.

that was my first thought too. being into full scale Chevy trucks, and seeing stuff like this, i just might have to build a smaller version of my 1 tonned 92 shortbed.
