| Birmingham Noob lookin for some rc family
So i just got into the rc crawling about 3 weeks ago. i bought a used wraith that s back halved and has some hop ups and I've recently added some of my own. i was looking to see if there is any groups or comps around the birmingham area. Im not sure how i feel about comp yet because I've never tried or even attended one. But i for sure want to find some people who just like to take em out and have some fun as well. and that may no some good places to ride at. |

Hello. I'm from Mt Olive but frequent moss rock. My favorite local crawling spot. I am also looking for some more people to go crawl with. I have a scx10 jk, poison spyder wraith(both brushless of course) and a axial based 2.2 pro rig so I can be in the same class as just about anyone. I usually go down there on Wednesday afternoon if it isn't too nasty for a afternoon fun run. Would love to see more people on the trail. And of course Saturday or Sunday depends on who can go and when. Would love to get together a group and go soon

| Re: Birmingham Noob lookin for some rc family yeah sounds good man. Im still trying to get my wraith back to what i consider 100%. i added a but load of stuff and still haven't got mine right. I ended up doing a DMG stump back kit, custom front bumper, full rear steer, 3s, new HH 28t motor, VP lockers, OD gears, new wheels and tires, full bullet proof trans, and a 4pl. So other than having rear servo issues, needing a Bec, and recovering form all the money i just spent, Im still in test&tune mode. Hopefully i can hit you up in a week or two before it gets too hot and we can hit up Moss rock.

JDIRCC. I would love to go anytime. Maybe this week will be nice and not drop a whole lot of rain. Let me know in advance and I could get a small group together to go run for a little while. Love to see more people getting into the hobby

New here too. I live in Trussville, AL. I purchased an Axial Rubicon Jeep this year and been working on some upgrades too. I don,t have a brushless setup yet as I'm not sure what platform to try first. If you have room I'd like to get out of my backyard. |

| Re: Birmingham Noob lookin for some rc family welcome to your new crack!!! as far as brushless platforms to try, id go with a mamba max pro esc and a holmes hobby trail master 3100kv. its a censored motor which gives you great speed ad torque and the ability to still crawl. i love mine. And of course we got room lol WE have actually a great spotlight here at my house with a giant creek bed if you have your rig waterproofed and a bunch of hill climbs and places to bash. We actually went today to tannehill state park and played around out there and i found some killer lines and spots. including a hill we dubbed stairway to heaven it would be a tough climb for a 1:1 rig. but pm me if ya want and ill get your number and we can go from there. |
