As I think I've mentioned before it doesn't take anything to be a member of PARC or ASTR other then attending comps (PARC) or attending Scale run GTG's (ASTR). Your rig is fine for scale runs and or the K.O.H. event that we are planning for the fall. You'll just need to decide whether you want to run the street class which will require the use of 1.9's and looks to fit the style of your rig or the unlimited class that will allow the use of 1.9 or 2.2's. |

| Sweet. I'm in there every once in a while. As far as I'm concerened, the only shop in town that really caters to what you'll see here on RCC...and knows what the hell you're talking about when you go in there speaking of crawlers or scalers. |

You guys must not have been in there for a while. There is know one there who knows the first thing about crawlers, but atleast their not denying it! Scott is a good Guy to deal with but still you have to know exactly what you need (part #) or look for it yourself. These guys only know heli's, planes and maybe shortcourse! When I have to go in there I just help myself...its a lot easier that way once you get to know them. Last edited by bmuzz1; 07-14-2010 at 02:42 PM. |

actually, one of the guys that used to work in there quit, he was the one that sorta pointed everyone in the wrong direction, the assistant manager, an the manger itself are VERY VERY helpful on what they know, an what they can help you with, ive got most of my knowledge in shortcourse, monster trucks,an rockcrawlers, but most of the intel they have is all of that stuff, they get quite a few plane & heli guys, but mostly everything else is offroad, ill look forward to some of you guys comming in there, i dont go by "syd" my real name is Seth, just for a f.y.i, so if you guys roll in there, say whats up! they tore down the rockwall cause hardly anyone used it, an it was just wasted space, i guess the word is that theres a "new one" comming about. i dont know forsure yet or not. |

that store used to rock when Matt worked there. i went in there once after that and the guy was like " whats an hb rover". so now i just go to http://www.tcscrawlers.com/ because they truly rock the crawler $hit. p.s. Hobby Action did kick ass as a sponsor so for that!!! |

| No more rock wall!
NO MORE ROCK WALL AT HOBBY ACTION! Well that bit of news just ruined my night. NOW where am I going to find 15-20 minutes of air conditioned rock crawling entertainment. Several of the lines on that mini course helped me guage my rigs performance after making small tweaks. Where did the pieces go? The alley? |

an im trying to get them to make a drift course in the store, an have the rockwall be part of it, also try to get some tabletops, triples, doubles, etc in the dirtlot next door just to mess around in, but we cant have anything "official" becuase it interfers with the AZ state laws or something, an we did have a shortcourse track for about 3 or 4 years, an it went great, but just the drama an B.S an un responsible people made the owner shut down the track. but the lot next door is a fairly good size lot to make some jumps in an stuff, an the store has a perfect gloss tile floor for drifitng, so we'll see what happens, im not the guy that makes all the decsions, im just the guy that an provide imput to hopefully get something started | |
