The Summit on sunday??

Im new to Rc crawling and was wondering if anyone was planning on going up to the summit this sunday. I will be there with my 1.9 probably around 7am if anyone wants to maybe a little practice comp so i can learn the ropes.

i think most of us are going to prescott,but there might be a couple that arent.(Brandon)

I didn't even look at the event list. well for those of you who are not going to prescott. I would go but i haven't comped yet, and wanna practice a little more. But I would like for someone thats not going to come up if possible. Thanks

have not comped !! SO WHAT..come up to prescott hang out with some
COOL people...and get plenty of pointers.

Dont worry about the whole first comp thing. Everyone has had a first comp! Its no big deal, we comp to have fun. Its really not all that serious,u should come up to prescott.they are a great group and we can give u some tuning hints as well

Ps the summit is ok,but prescott rocks are sick

If your going to stay local and not head up to Prescott I would check out New Papago, there are tons of killer lines to try out and practice on.

I might just go up to prescot What time, and it 41 miles north of prescot on 89 right. i think i remember seeing that on another post. how is the 1.9 class just me or is there others??

I count 7 1.9s for Prescott if everybody shows..so hope to see you up there..you wont regret the drive

Yeah there are a bunch of us with 1.9's going up.

We are meeting at Tempe Market Place probably around 5:00 - 5:30am and then heading up from there. There is a Google map in the Prescott comp thread for directions or if you head up you can follow us. I would offer you a ride but I've already got a truck load.

thats cool i will probably drive up. can a car make it out to the comps site or is there somewhere i can park it and walk in??

I thinking a car should be fine, looks like it's just a short turn out or very short dirt road right off the highway.

ok so i might have a problem.. I broke a stock upper link for my losi mrc, i have ordered a replacement from california (ImpaktRc.com). The problem is it still shows up pending on there website(not shipped :-( ) so I may not have a running crawler for prescott, If anyone has a extra stock upper link for the losi Mini crawler I will be happy to buy it if mine doesnt get here before the comp. Please let me know Thanks again

ok so i am a moron.. the website say they are out of town... until the 21st. Thank you Bmuzz for helping me with that and as of now i will be joining you guys this sunday. maybe saturday night. But seriously thanks for the friendly feedback and help

I'd love to crawl up north Sunday with everyone but I'm overbooked with honey-dos. I'm sneaking out to New Papago at 8:00am for a little bit. Dad's still under the weather but wants to check out his new XR-10!! Jim and Rich are coming too.
