Default Truck has a mind of it's own

I went camping last week up on the rim and Saturday we went fishing at Willow Springs Lake. There was no catching going on and I was getting bored and I just happened to have the Honcho in my truck. There was a lot of great spots up there for scalers.
I did have a few scary moments though when the Honcho decided it wanted to keeping going forward when I let off the throttle and I was heading straight for a few foot drop into the lake. It keeps creeping when I'm not on the throttle and if I give it a blip it usually stops.
I'm guessing either I need to recalibrate the ESC or the tx batteries are a getting low. Anything else I should check? All of the wiring looks good. BTW it is a RTR (2.4) Honcho all stock electronics running 2s lipo and deans plugs.
I only got a few pics but haven't got them off my phone yet.

Already adjusted the trim. I'll try to rebind the radio, I think I downloaded the manual for it.
Yeah, both in 531. Small world. Did Darrell sell his other scx yet? That thing was pretty sweet.

Might be in for a new TX. I have recalibrated the ESC, re-binded (rebound?) the tx/rx, changed all batteries and I still have glitching. I have noticed that I can shake the tx and it will make the truck react and touching the throttle can make a glitch too. I pulled it apart and the connections looked solid, as far as I could tell anyways. I'm thinking the throttle mechanism is shoddy. It would be good excuse to get a 3ch so if I add a winch I can control it that way.

Any other thoughts?
