Default after work crawl at falcon hill

well a few photos before I got attacked by bees lol trying out my new crawler motor with new tranny gears to climbs like a beast now lol

I went with the 45 with a 32/11 gear I think if I re member right lol but it's got stupid torque now and crawls really well just not as fast lol

Maybe 52/11 or 62/11 gears?

no it's 32/11 it gies slow and climbs everything I can bounce it quite well cuz of all the torque

Wow that's a 2.9:1 ratio. Watch your motor/ESC temps. Likely to get hot, specially if you are running any timing in your motor.
I am running 5:1 and have ran up to 5.8:1 for crawling.

Maybe we aren't talking the same language. When I'm talking gearing mine is 80/16, I'm saying I run 80 tooth spur and 15 tooth pinion. Without modding the motor mount, I couldn't use any smaller combination. The motor is all the way over in the slots to get the mesh set right.

no we're talking the right language my temps have been fine 32 spur 11 pinion

I had to mod my gear case for the 32 tho so I have a lil space open but other then that it all fits fine and I ran it for a hour in 105 degree weather and it wasnt even hot

32 PITCH, 60 tooth spur with an 11 tooth pinion perhaps?

Yeah that would be a better ratio. I was trying to leave pitch out of the equation to simplify it some. But ultimately pitch doesn't matter so long as they are the same on both gears.
