Default Aluminum C's

Anyone know what the difference between the alloy Cs from the various vendors is? The RC4WD Cs are almost 1 1/2 times the price of the Hot Racing ones. Are they 1 1/2 times better?

I know the RCp C's will allow you to adjust caster which will allow you to change the pinion angle. I have them and recommend them highly.

Some are high claerance, some clockable, some silver, some black. But they are all pretty much the same.

What does changing the Pinion angle do for steering?

Is more Caster better or less Caster for Crawling / Steering?

Thanks!

Who sells high clearance C's?

Our knuckles, on the other hand, are not exact copies of the stock knuckle geometry like the rest.
We have redesigned them to so that the knuckle can turn farther then the dogbones allow in anticipation of the Axial CV's.

Zero caster is optimum for crawling/steering. Our C's are clockable to allow for scale builds where the driveline angle needs to be much less.

Clocking the pinion up gives you more clearance. Caster isn't as much an issue for crawlers, and the Axial comes stock with zero degrees. At higher speeds it impacts handling stability and the tendency of a vehicle's steering to self-center.

i bought all the new aluminum products for the AX10 from different vendors when they first came out, and i ended up using the RCP one's...their quality always seem to be the best out there...so now i just always go to RCP first....can't beat them

Can they be countersunk for increased steering angle without creating durability problems?

Same here. All I have to say is that RCP axle c's, straight axles and steering hubs is all I will buy for any AX10 based project I do!!

Yeah the RCP C's and Knuckles have no problems so you don't need to countersink.

Do they have more clearance than the stock ones?
