| my new ride :)
well i decided to buy an ax10. and begun to build as soon as i got the kit out of the shipping box well the first thing that hit me was the tire smell hahahhahahaha. well anyways the build went smooth and not to many problems...well actually none. and some modifications came along: a full set of integy msr10 shocks, 30wt oil, aluminum c-hubs. in the mail now are a rear stright axle conversion, max clearance steering knuckles, mamba max esc and holmes brushless 3014, hitec HS-985MG high torque servo. im so pumped about this rig almost forgot too the CKRC's stage 2 suspension upgrade whoot!!!!! heres some pics of the beast: anyone in the san berdino area that crawls that wants to crawl with me when its done????? Very nice... Shocks match VERY well... Try to mount the pack elsewhere though, or pick up the split 2/3aa pack once you get the brushless. Don't want all that money ending up on it's back the second it gets going up |

| yeah ill fix it when the stage 2 kit comes yeh i just mocked up the pack to see what the sag would be with the batt weight on it. dont know really where to mount the pack......hmm maybe ill swap over the trans now im bored hahahahahaha forgot to mention on the aluminum c hubs the philips screws are too long and bottom out on the axles so i ended up cutting about 1.5-2mm off of the screw ;) Last edited by Panchira!; 01-16-2008 at 09:36 PM. |

I strapped mine to the servo in front and let the rest sit on the upper links, works well and is a common mounting spot. | |

its from a toyota 1JZGTE im rebuilding at the moment, that will be going into my cressida ;) .....well i swaped the trans around last night....but now in running into a problem. the insides of the tires are hitting the lower links (due to the c-hubs being narrower)...i know i dont have a servo in her yet, so i dont know the max steering angle. but i hope the ckrc kit will solve this problem....oh when do the stock driveshafts usually break? i want to somewhat bullet proof this machine before i run it. any recomendations? so you straped your batt pack ontop of your servo? do you have any interferience problems?i thought about doing a saddle pack like mounting one on each side of the servo. as for the spedo i was thinking of making a mount and installing it on one of the upper links... I think that the tires rubbing the links is normal with the stock setup, if you move your links inside it will stop rubbing |

| If you are talking about the MSR10 shocks I've been running the RC18t rear springs on the front and rear of my AX10. They sit about mid stroke so I guess that would my my setup a 50% droop
