Default Easy Axial slipper clutch

Here is my easy Axial slipper setup:

Take the top shaft and slipper pieces from a Pede tranny and remove the same from the Axial tranny. Install!!

Traxxas part #'s

1993-slipper shaft
1994-spring, nut, bushing
4622-slipper discs
4625-disc holders
4685-friction pegs

Pede tranny expoded view

I had to shim the disc holder out from the tranny with 2 of the smaller bushings out of a clod axle. I will get the size on those.

Easy enough?

Do you need pics too?

Then obviously you will also need to get a spur gear to fit the Traxxas slipper also. I use a 87 tooth.

I imagine it will, it is not any bigger than the stock set-up. I do not know for sure though as I do not own own one. The only Axial things I own are some beadlocks that I use for mocking things up, this tranny, and some axles that sit in a box because everytime I touch them they break.

Oh, now I understand why you need a slipper...Axial engineered those into the wheel hexes and lockers. I figured you knew that.
