Default prototype reign rc comp chassis build!!

I got one of the new prototype comp chassis' from pinchflat at reign rc!! In agreement to getting a prototype I had to do a build thread which I have never been good with!!

First of Ive got to say it a sweet chassis, and its super light weight and compact!!

the current parts!! awaiting others

ax10 axles w/ rcp c's and knuckles, ckrc rear lockout and ss shafts
r2d tranny pictured with a ax10 because im awaiting a new skid from pinchflat
ax10 shocks shortened 10mm I was going to use 4" losi units but they were to short for my taste

I have 2 different electric set-ups for different conditions and terrain

brushless:

tcs' bm9 motor and adaptor plate
mamba 25 esc
elite 1500mah 8cell battery

brushed:

novak fifty-five motor
awaiting the novak rooster crawler esc and the elite 7 cell batt.

I have proline badland m3 tires sitting here!!

the parts im awaiting:

jp custom comp body
aluminum beadlock (undesided)
tcs 4 link/servo mount for the front
tcs battery plates
ckrc 3 link and elec. tray
tcs r2d servo mount

on to the pictures!!

That's looking good. I like that you (and others) are taking advantage of the multiple shock mount positions.

Thats a very cool chassis. Do you know if an R2D with a cobalt puller will fit??

well with mt r2d and novak fifty-five mocked up I have about 1/8 inch before i hit the upper link mount!! you have to offset the tranny to one side to get it to fit as i have it!!

Excellent chassis design, one problem with the build. The body posts are too low on the chassis. They will get hung up on everything. Just a thought, switch the upper links with the body posts to give them a little more clearance. Or for maximum clearance, move the upper shock position down, and move the body posts to an open shock position.

Otherwise great build.
