Any help would be great

Thanks

I have run the standard 87 tooth spur gear, and the 86 tooth Robinson spur as well. The plastic ones are quieter...I like that. As for pinion gear, I like 18 tooth.

I've been experimenting and have found so far (first crawler, stock 87t spur) that the 25t pinion i have is a bit to quick and the 14t I have just doesn't quite enough kick that I would like to hop in certain situations. I think I will be going with 2 more pinions somewhere in the middle, maybe a tooth or 2 difference and I think I should find something that will make me happy.

By the way, did you buy the tranny from Sam?

if youre going to be using it mostly for trail bashing you can get away with more wheelspeed 87/20-25 should be cool
