| went crawlin yesterday with the improved 3/4 droop setup :)
JeepinDoug turned Fatty and I onto a new crawlin spot some sections were crazy, but there were plenty of other challenging sections. Fatty's 40 looking forward to getting mine started. Although, I don't know If I would bash it on the rocks...at least not initially :P JeepinDoug @ the starting line, integy's were working great. It's going to be a completely different rig, once you trade that HEAVY high-mounted batter for a 3cell lipo :O DoveTailed Loaner body I sorta stole :-P took some hits, should have mounted it higher. Dima's is now the new owner...treat her well Fatty. poser shot carnage, Dima's custom handmade links couldn't hang...wimpy wimpy wimpy very stable with addition of springs above the shock-piston need to redo the droop...to allow for a taller stance. currently sittin @2inches Last edited by mr_manny; 05-29-2008 at 10:16 PM. |

Knarly lil spot to crawl, not hard but a real possibility of getting technical. There are some deep holes that will break parts if running without a slipper clutch. All the rigs did really well. The spot is Oyster Point Harbor, South San Francisco, CA. about 100 yards from Genetech (another crawl spot that has big rocks and small chance of running long lines). Same place next Wednesday night, bring some chalk and tennis balls, |

I'm ready, lets go!! I slipped in a small sneeky-pete nitrous bottle. Realistically, just a couple more small tweaks to shocks and I'm ready to mob the rocks. |

5 - 5:30 across from the launch ramp, real easy to get to. Oyster Point Blvd turn off from 101, right turn in to the harbor/yacht club area, drive past the boat shop and stay right. Anyone is welcome. |
