| Best aftermarket AX10 Chassis?
Hey. I am going to rebuild my AX10 into a hardcore crawler. Want something with a low COG, and crawls like its being forced onto rocks... The standard chassis, just siply seems toooo high, and I have seen many many aftermarket chassis, and well... whats the best? I don't fancy a tube frame, as I like my shell atm... What do you recommend? Cheers. |

You are pretty much gonna get a ton of opinions on different chassis. There's lots of good one out there... BlackJack, Slingshot, GateKeeper GC2, Bender's stuff, all kinds man. Just do some reading and see whats best for you |

i have kept my stock chassis, and i love it. i have got the cg as low as possible i think . it hangs with just about everything in our local comps. i have a banana chassis but i just cant see pulling everything of my axial, it works to good. if i every do build another rig i think it will be a gc-2 with bergs. |

Thing is fellas, I am in the UK, so things can get a bit tricky.... espacialy when getting the fancy gear! I have been reading up on the SW3 chassis, I dunno, it looks too high, even more so when you compare it to the Slingshot, and the LW Widow... and after alot of digging, I've come across this website... http://offroader5.freeservers.com/templates.html And I do have access to a CNC machine too, any of those tickle anyones fancy? | The SW3 is a great chassis, I have seen many in action and would have bought one myself but couldn't find one at the time. I went with the GC2 and am not sorry I did. The SW and the GC2 are the 2 best options IMO.

"And I do have access to a CNC machine too, any of those tickle anyones fancy? " I'm sitting infront of a Kitamura Mycenter 3XiH....but I paid the guy that designed the chassis for his work by buying it from him. I think he deserves it. |

I am sorry if I've upset you for posting something that someone else has desided to broadcast, I simply found it. I wasn't thinking of making these for production or anything, I was only going to make one chassis for me, before any flames me for trying to "make" these public or shizz... | |

I would have to say that Del Monte's chassis, "the Top Banana" is the best after market chassis. It has proven itself over and over again. I would look him up on here or at least do a search for some videos of it.
