| Having a hard time choosing a chassis.....
so i've been chassis shopping lately, after deciding i don't care for droop and switched back to stock from my Edge chassis. Now, i gotta figure out what chassis to get next. here's all i know: 1. HAS to be setup for sprung 2. would like to keep using my traxxas lower links (6318's i believe..polished steel with revo ends) or if not, a chassis that comes with premade links. i'm that lazy. 3. i will NEVER run a dig....so, no need or a chassis specifically setup for a dig 4. HAS to have a predrilled skid for AX10 tranny 5. CAN NOT be a tuber...i want to run a body 6. has to be available now, i don't want to be in any preorder mess so....based on that, what would YOU choose to run? |

Id also say the SWX. I think it is a great chassis for the novice or more advanced. It is super easy to build and to setup. Also, The "SW" chassis line has been proven to be great time and time again. My 2 cents...

I would also recommend the SWX kit as it meets all of your requirements. Its a nice chassis that comes with all the links and pieces you need to swap it over. Its also proven in competition so you know its good |

Black Widow, cheap price, works great, comes with links, predrilled skid center or forward, dont think you can beat it.

I like my DNA CFX slingshot. It's very light and has a short profile to help keep COG down. It also comes with sweet link/battery plates. I've been very successful with mine this year. It meets all your criteria too.... It comes with links and a drilled skid and is available now. Mine is setup sprung and you certainly don't need a dig to run it. I know someone selling a lightly used one too. PM me if you are interested. Last edited by Locked Up; 04-30-2009 at 07:25 AM. |

The CDW 1.0 is a great choice for these reasons: 1) You can re-use your traxxas links for your lowers. 2) It's available with four link front and rear. 3) It's very adjustable regarding link and shock placement. 4) It's super light weight. 5)) It can be run droop or sprung, in which case big bores or losi .9's or crawleers limited by 1/2" or so will work great. 6) Although you won't be running dig, it can handle one. The only down side regarding your requirements is that it doesn't have a pre-drilled skid. This howeve allows you to drill it for whatever layout you want. Whether it be a standard set-up, mirrored trans, forward for dig and/or pcobalt puller clearance, etc. But I''m sure if you are nice enough, Anthony can drill it for you. Everyone who has run this chassis loves it. I do. Last edited by TSK; 04-30-2009 at 02:34 PM. |

I have an SWX and love it, but the DNA slingshot is also a sweet chassis.

GC2.....hands down. This chassis is great. Very stable chassis, parallel upper links, adjustable, pre-drilled skid, it works great. I have one and even though I have a Berg I still refuse to sell it. I would comp it if I could get front and rear dig for it.
