Default cutting driveshafts for dig

Has anyone used these driveshafts with a dig unit, they seem pretty strong, and I think all you have to do to shorten them is cut the hex shaped shaft to the lenth you need. Hoping to get a few opinions on this before I order a set, Thankshttp://www.bizarre-hobbies.com/servl...n-steel/Detail

Those should work, and if you cut too far, just replace with an allen key that fits!

look like they would work, just measure twice first. Also if thats the same guy as bizarre hobbies on ebay, i bought off him with ease, fast shipping too.

Those are the same as the integy ones. They do work with a dig after cutting the male end to shorten it, but it's pretty close. Just keep them lubed up. I had them and just a little bit of rust got them bound up. Also before you install them, remove every pin and give it a little grind in the center, so that the set screws have something to hold on to. Otherwise you'll find your self replacing spur gears or having to do repairs during a comp everytime the pin rattles loose. And don't forget to use locktite on every set screw, when you rebuild them.

I'm going to be running the Mip Thunder tech version. They cost about 20 bucks more, if you want the shortened version for use with a dig. I think having splines, vs the integy ones with just a pin, will work much smoother. I'll know as soon as they come in from TCS.
