Default How do you store your crawler

Do you store your crawler sitting on it's tires, with it blocked up under the axles so the tires don't get flat spots or some other way

Store? Who has time to store a crawler?

Honestly, it just sits on the shelf or in the trunk of the car when I'm not using it.

X2
but jack stands or you can put the skid on a peanut can to keep the flat spots away.

or you can get rid of those memory foams

I have memory foams, mine gets stored in a gear bag, no stands. The flat spots go away as soon as it runs again.

Beer cups, the red ones, with the ends cut out. They fit the axle pumkins realy nice and work as the poor mans jack stands. Flat spots suck.

Mine just sits whereever I leave it. Either in the back of my truck or in my room somewhere. maybe on a shelf for a day or two. It sees a lot of run time

My chassis sits on a stand I made out of some plastic I got from Tap Plastics, makes it easy to work on and keeps the tires off the ground

Right now I've got some old King Blackfoot wheels that I set mine on on the shelf. The pumpkins sit right in place and just barely hold the tires off the shelf. I can't stand flat spots in my tires, even though they do go away shortly after running them rigs. Some folks also take into consideratin their shocks, and try to take pressure off the springs. Personally I don't worry much about that because that's something that would weaken the springs over a long period of time, whereas the tires can get flat spots from just sitting over night.

I've been eyeing these though.Fubar Crawlers' Rig Stands

Are people seriously concerned about flat spots with memory foam? Has anybody used a crawler before? This is why I never read posts here....

Three servo boxes under the skid to hold the tires up and suspension uncompressed. Just a habit from years ago, flat spots don't go away so good on touring cars and pan cars etc.

Well I've been looking all over the place for a better design to fit all the stuff I have on my crawler shelf, and just guessing by how the rigs are sitting on there that's the exact size and shape I have been looking for.

I guess it's bad, all those nice impressive rc's sittin there, and I'm most impressed by the shelf itself.
