Default Kville's Mayhem LS 2.0

Starting with this. Basically a stock AX-10 kit with DNA dig.

Current Specs:

Mayhem Eng LS 2.0 chassis - 2.7" GC
Self fabbed Delrin lower links
Losi 4" crawler shocks - ext limited
Axial AX-10 Transmission
Axial AX-10 axles
Jetboat's Axial BTA
Vanquish Products High Steer knuckles
Axial 36\14 HD overdrive gear set in frt axle
Axial rear axle steering lockout
Self fabbed aluminum rear 4 link plate
DNA Dig
Mayhem Eng. "7" aluminum beadlock rims
Hitec MG225 dig servo on self fabbed mount
Hitec TG7995 steering servo
Tekin FX-R ESC
Castle Creations BEC
Integy 45t lathe motor 87 spur 14 pin
Spektrum SR3100 RX
Spektrum DX3R TX
Holmes Hobbies 3s 25c 1300 Mah Batts

Ordered a Mayhem LS 2.0 last Friday and received it on Monday. Great service, communication from them.

Love the workmanship on this. Top notch Mayhem...

Making some Delrin links for it... Chucked the links up in my cordless drill spun em and used my dremel to route the ends down to the diameter of the traxxas rod ends.. Worked great.

So far so good. I pulled the servo off the top of the tranny. Will find a new location for it.

How about right there.... In that open area... Yeah perfect

I think this will end up working. Gotta make a plate to attach to the mounting points on the Dig casing. Here are some more pics below of the dig servo

Should push and pull good. Will fab the upper mounting bracket tomorrow or Thursday..

The ride height is spot on where I want it at the first try...

Love those drive line angles...

Well that's it so far. I am going to run the upper links parallel not triangulated I think. I will make a 4 link plate for the rear and lose the boomerang. I ordered a front 4 link plate.

I also just today ordered a set of Mayhem "7"'s in machined finish for it. Time to get rid of the Axial stockers...

fabbed up the upper dig servo mount last night and shot it with some black satin paint. Will install and post pics of it tonight. Going to figure out where to mount the esc and rx tonight as well.

Thanks for the compliments. I should have it completed by this coming Wednesday. Then on Thursday it is being driven out to Montana by my parents who live there in the summer. I will be flying out mid June and will do it's first run out there. Should be a great place to do testing with this new chassis. I can't wait to drive it.

Here are some pics with the body on it. As of today it is on it's way to Montana. I will be flying out mid June and will test it on the rocks out there. Should make for a nice proving ground.

I had a package waiting for me tonight when I got home too. I guess these will have to fly out with me and I will install them in Montana.

Hey how long are the lowers? I ordered one and am waiting, but I hope the stock lowers will work.

You will need to shorten your stock links. I am using 3" delrin rod for links with traxxas revo ends on that.

Just ordered Jetboat's BTA kit for my rig yesterday and will be picking up a set of vanquish high steer knuckles to use with it. I am also going to be ordering a Axial HD overdrive gearset for the front axle soon too.

I can't wait to fly out to Montana this Saturday and finally be able to drive it with the new chassis, wheels, and the other overall changes I made to it. I think there is a local group in Bozeman that run on Tuesday evenings out there, and I am planning to run with them if possible. I heard about it through Rocky Mountain Hobbiez located in Bozeman. My wife gave me some travel money, but it will probably get spent at that hobby store .

I got my Mayhem "7"'s packed up in my carry on bag. I just hope the TSA doesn't think they are cylinders off of a revolver and want to search my person for the other parts...

I will post pics of the rig once I get it's new shoes on, and also of the area I will be testing on. My father will probably be video taping it too.

My parents are going to show me Yellowstone Natl Park while I am out there, maybe I can chase some bears and bison with the rig, or give it a wash by driving over Old Faithful.

Looking good man. I think you could get that dig servo down even lower if you use DNA's new servo mount. Especially since you have the space to get it in there. Really digging your router work on those links

Thanks, I tried going lower on the servo with my own mount but the driveshaft would hit the servo during the articulation swing. Plus for $20 DNA can keep their new mount, mine was just under $2.00.. Plus with it being a mini I am not worried about lower it another 1/4 inch..

Thanks.

The chassis and wheels are working great. I will post up some pics of it on the rocks in Montana tomorrow. The chassis has made a much noticable differance over the stock...

Thanks Mayhem for the awesome wheels and chassis. They were worth every penny...

Here are some shots crawling in Montana at a place called Revenue Flats.

I just wish there was a decent view to see while crawling...
