Default Mayhem wheels and STRC knuckles help!!

Hey all, I'm building a TCS Edge, using Axial aluminum axle housings, MIP axles, STRC hub carriers and STRC high clearance steering knuckles, with Axial aluminum 12mm hex's. I am trying to mount some Mayhem Wicked J's 2.2 wheels but they hit the knuckle before seating. Does anyone make a wider 12mm hex (the black piece in second pic) to offset the wheels out some more? I would really hate to give up these wheels!

Might look into the MRC section. I've seen a few guys running 12mm wideners on there little Losi's. Wideners for late models seems to come to mind. I've seen a few local guys running them. Not sure the exact dimensions, wouldn't add much width though. Probably just enough.

Why does the knuckel look so loose in the top pic? Do you have the bushing in it?
