Default need help on becs

hi im a newb to this site and i was reading and it was talking about becs and i was wondering if i needed one of these but im not shure so could someone help me out

you only really "need" one if your runnin a higer torque servo, but if you dont mind spending the 20 bucks might as well get one regardless. what it does is suplys power to the servo rather then loading up the ESC to power the servo and the motor. most esc have built in becs to power the servo but some arnt big enough to power the big servos, or for people running 2 servos they are a good idea. i could go into alot more detail but this keeps it simple

what ESC and servo are you running? it will give us a better idea if you need one or not. they are super easy to hook up so its not a big deal to install one.
