| Just ordered an axial scorpion rtr today!!
After looking around on the site for a while i decided to pull the trigger on a new truck. I already have a nitro mgt3.0 that i love , but some days i just dont feel like getting a glow heater ready and all that and i just wanna plug-n-go. Thats why i decided to go with an electric this time. This is my first rc that isnt nitro, so i know exactly squat about batteries and lipo set-up and nimh and nicd. Hopefully you all can help me out with this stuff. for now i ordered the truck (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/653122.asp) the battery (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/233856.asp) and the durascrap charger (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/701785.asp). What kind of run-time am i looking at without burning up the esc and all that stuff? im sorta nervous about going from nitro to electic, theres too much technology with the electric stuff anymore

I have the same two trucks.I get about 20min of run time with a 4200mah pack. But I have a tamiya 540 motor in mine. You will get longer run time with the 27 turn motor that comes stock.First thing I would upgrade is the plastic links they suck big time.
