Default My ax10 build

Hi guys i just picked up a ax10 scorpion for fairly cheap. It is in very good condition and hasn't been ran very much. The mods done to it before i bought it was a tactic 2.4 ghz 2 ch was installed and the motor and transmission were flipped.Since buying it yesterday i have flipped all the shocks, moved the battery to the front, and move some of the elecs.

My plans for this rig are:

Build a tubed chassis and attempt to build a fj40 body using metal sheeting
Upgrade the shocks
Upgrade the tires
Upgrade as many gears as possible to metal
Make custom metal links

Some questions i have:

When i bought this rig it came with 2 batteries and a reedy quasar charger, when the charger is charging the battery i have it turned up to 6.5 amps(max) and the battery gets VERY HOT and hard to handle. Also the charger says the battery is fully charged after only like 7 minutes!?Is this normal for all chargers?

My servo keeps slipping as well, the metal rod coming out of the servo is fine, but the servo arm looks like its teeth are not stripped but still if there is a load on the the servo it slips and the tires dont turn. I put a lock washer under the screw thinking it would secure the arm and it did for about 5 minutes then it began to slip again. Is the only remedy to get a metal servo arm? Picture of servo and arm:

you need to charge the battery slower, at 6.5 amps your battery will go bad quicker and unusable. try more like 3-4 amps to charge it, it will take longer but your battery will live longer. as for the servo horn, get a metal one. make sure it is the same teeth count though. eventually also you will want a new servo.

Yea i didst really know weather to post this here or in 2.2 rigs, i figured its base is an ax10 and my questions pertained to ax10 parts so it should go here, but i'm fine with it if a mod wants to move it.

lot of thinking on how to do it and make it look right, but i took it back to comp form and made the proline tuber look scaleish, alot easier and doesnt look bad imo. but it was fun.

Update:
-Got some losi shocks, they make the chassis MUCH lower to the ground, not sure if i like it yet..
-Broke the pinion gear so i upgraded to a 13t losi
-got a set of PL hammers and installed without foams for now
-Made a new chassis but it doesn't seem to be working properly so w.e. ill stick to stock for now
-After running the crawler for a few hours on some crazy rocks and going up some stuff that needed some serious torque more than once the motor is starting to grind...

I keep finding suttle upgrades EVERYWHERE on this thing, while installing the tires i see that the previous owner installed wheel weights!!Pictures to come!!

Well its been a longgg time, i have been close to selling this thing a few times to fund my other hobbies(1:1 cars). But ive kept it! Over the summer this thing got a lot of use, took it to the mountains and played all over huge slabs of granite(holy crap this thing grabs well on granite!). Then last month i had it on the ocean climbing on the cliffs of Mendocino county. With moving into college dorms, buying another car(supra) i just havent had time to play with this thing!!

Sadly a few weeks ago my computer crashed and it fried my 300gb HD that had pictures of everything was deleted :(.

Heres one i took yesterday:
