Default AX10 RTC to Edge build, 1st timer

So here's my parts list. On hand, or coming:

Scorp RTC, currently stock
Rover whites with CI foams & lead weight strips
Edge chassis & hardware kit (internal droop springs)
EEM double triangulated skid
D-Mount rear four-link plate
PTFE-Delrin tubing, 8-32 SS rod and Revo rod ends for custom links
1000mah, 2S Lipos

Plan is Stage 1 to make all the above work with stock electronics except maybe a stouter servo/BEC. Then Stage 2 will be electronics and over/underdrive

Question 1: Anything seriously wrong with this plan? Like are any of those components not compatible?

Question 2: I'll need to relocate battery, ESC and RX from their RTC locations. Do I need to build any special plates or etc to mount this stuff optimally in the Edge? Are there favorite locations for those pieces?

Thanx, Bill

It appears you have been around for a little while. Your plan appears to be going in the right direction.
Electronics seem to do very well attached to the upper links on plates. The plates you can purchase or make at home. Battery location favorites are usually located on the front axle. Low and forward.

Just a heads up, once you add the rovers and wheel weights the stock plastic c-hubs do not last very long.

You'll want a BEC sooner than later. For around $50 you can get a CCBEC and Castle Link. The link can be used both for the BEC and your ESC (I just upped the drag brake brake from 50% to 100%.)

Other than that, way to read.
