Default Spare ax10

Moved to the xr and have a leftover ax10 pretty blinged out. 7t puller vp dig etc. What's everyone do with the spare rig if you have one? Set it for sportsman? Tough truck? Looking for ideas.

Some guys go straight to FOFF...but, I also think sportsman is a really great class. I just wish more clubs ran a sporty class.

If it were me, I would probably try the newer style FSJ trans and try to get the sporty as light as possible. Maybe something around 4 lbs.

Sportsman is great especially if you find yourself in a place where the lines are just too easy for MOA.

TTC and FOFF looks like an absolute blast and axial axles are very popular for both build types.

I think my vote still goes for sporty - even though i'm leaving the dig in mine (you can always disable it for sportsman competition)

If you have any TTC events in your area, check one out and then make a decision.

Either go sportsman or build a scaler.

Or light it on fire and hit it with a baseball bat.

I personally would like to build a FOFF rig. From one extreme to the other ! A Scaler FOFF is what I see in my Future.

That's what I have planned for a spare set of axles and transmission that I bought from RPP's Salvage yard. It was going to be a scaler but I'm leaning more towards a scaler FOFF...with the emphasis on scaler.

When I bought my Berg Ive ended up with 2 spare ax10's

Ive started building one as a scaler and even though there is no sportsman class over here thinking of building one anyway as I've started collecting the bits to to the XR steering and FSJ ... we'll see if it ever comes off ....its all about time for me at the mo
