Stub shaft slop... just checking. So I was looking through the forum and the best fix I found for stub shaft slop was some super thin shims placed between the stub and the bearings. I just wanted to make sure I had that right and that I wasn't missing anything else. Thanks guys. |
Ah, I've been down this road before. Thin shims or washers will help...a little. You'll never completely get rid of the slop, you'll learn to tolerate it. |
The shims for the LCC worm gear work great. I used 3 between the bearing and the hex pin. Link to shims: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSA6358 |
