| Constant "EVO"lution This will be my first real sporty build. I had a fastback lcc back when I first got into crawling. But it got sold of to fund my pro rig after I went to my first comp. Ever since then I've not payed them much attention, until we made the trip to NENC this past year. M_energy let me use his sporty ( where he took second and i did not) I was hooked with a fresh new outlook on crawling. Lucky for me I comp with Bruce from BmachineRC and know what a great truck the remedy is. SO it was a nobrainer when I was choosing parts and chassis. I knew Derrick was redoing his so I just told Bruce make 2 while he was at it. Here's some pics of the parts. I using the BmachineRC EVO chassis BmachineRC brass front spline tube and upper link mount/lipo/electronics/servo mount BmachineRC aluminum spline tube and rear upper mounts BmachineRC Links and steering arms Xr unis VP wraith knuckles and VP currie rear axles Krazed builds C class wheels Holmes lockers That's it for now I'll be ordering motor and servo next week and start building soon Last edited by Constant Threat; 10-24-2015 at 07:00 PM. |

Servo came in today I figured I would give these pro modeler brushless servos a try. There is a thread on these with extensive info on the company and specs so I'm not going to go to far into it, other than what I know of it right now. Which is the owner seemed really nice via email shipping was very fast ( got here in 2 days) and it looks and feels really well made. There is a lot of hype around these things right now from people that have not even run them. I figure I'll put it thru it's paces on my sporty before I say it's the best thing since sliced bread. Still collecting a few odds and ends. But did get the rear axle together last night. I f!#/$ up trying to rush and didn't drill the rear tubes in the same spot so the rear lockouts aren't exactly the same Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk |
