| Axial threaded shocks on GC3A
Hey guys, I just got the gate keeper chassis, and use the rubber bushings in the top eye of the shock cap. I cant keep the shock screws tights as they squish the rubber down or the screw head just goes down thru the rubber. Is there any other options for a pivot ball in there besides the plastic ones that come with it? They dont work either as they are way too loose and just fall out of it. |

Try one of the ball ends from any extra rods you may have. I am not sure about the axial shocks but revo ball ends work good for big bores. Look in the vendor section some of them guys make some stand offs with ball ends that will work. Delux and Jeepin Doug.

| Re: Axial threaded shocks on GC3A ...and some locktite. That is what I use on mine, with the stock chassis. You could also do a rod end mod. Just cut off the part with the hole off the shock cap, then drill a hole in the center of the cap. All you need is a 3mm screw to run through the cap into the rod end. |

I do have a ton of loctite on it. I tired a washer, but it still wobbles around a lot. I might try the ball end mod.
