Default Mad mAX-10..ProLine Tuber Cage Build..

Thought I'd share what I've done and what I'm doing to my AX-10

Swapped out stock shocks for Traxxas T-Maxx alloy shocks..


First thing to go was all the green , stripped off with Caustic soda.


What it looks like with the shell on.


T-Maxx servo protector cover for the steering servo..




Ansmann 21t Kenjo Drift motor . On Mirrored Gearbox


54t Spur / 12t Pinion .

Mirrored Tranny..


Bought a new ESC so I could change to Li-Po's..
3oz of lead in each front rim..


Moved lower links inward..




Bought a Proline Tubber Cage..

Test fit..


Had to remove the front tray , so cage would sit right..





Now the fun starts..
Cutting up the cage..


Removed small Rx box..

Li-Po sits nice and tight , but think it need something else..


Some spare LED lights off my hpi Baja fitted ,looks great..


Rx water proof box from a T-Maxx..

4 Link Plates fitted front and rear..


Body posts each side of the Li-Po to stop it moving..



Cut my Betty shell up to make some panels..

Got some more up-grades for my AX-10
Traxxas XL5 waterproof ESC
HR Skid Plate
HR steel gear set for tranny
will get some photos ASAP.

Theres no room for the Ni-Mh battery now,
but it was good for crawling as so much weight was over the front axle..

Got a dash sorted for my build...

Got hold of a Barbie car and removed the dash..










Allso got a driver and co-driver..



Cann't leave them alone for a moment....


Can you see the rust on the door..

Hey Sean your rig is going cool man and your driver and his girl are having fan too as I can see, I’m a little jealous, I’d like to be there too
Great you give the hobby a comic side, you the Ireland guys are very funny, and I like it.
I don’t know if you know Andy Irvine, a Ireland folk musician, believe or not, he was at my town last weekend and I was to his concert, it was very nice to listen the Ireland folk music, I enjoyed it too much and there I was able to see the good sense of humor he has, and very kind person, he autographed me a CD I bought at the concert, nice my friend
