Default R2 Transmission

I want to upgrade to a new transmission and im really leanin towards the RC4WD R2 Crawler Transmission but i dont know if it will bolt directly onto the stock skidplate. Do i need to do any modifications to the truck to put in this transmission?

The stock transmission is better. Don't waste your money. Unless you want something heavier, bigger and noisier.

Haven't tested the tranny but bought one today. RC4WD has a ax-10/scx-10 skid plate that mounts up to it.
