Alhough it's slightly different than the style you are after, I just put together mine using a RC Solutions Sting chassis and and I am 110% happy with my decision. Heavier than most but it looks unique and will take a beating.

Get an underground crawler chassis. You wont be disapointed.

Those 2 chassis are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum for quality ,capability ,crawl ability ,sex appeal, geometry, and comp standards ... The sudu is the way to go of those 2 choices but I suggest a NIGHTMARE from billet works designs ... I've had every sporty chassis out there and the nightmare performs the best out of all of them ... | cab less chassis IMO you will be greatly disappointed unless you have fabrication skills patience and money ... Shock geometry is bad shock length is too tall links bind up shock mounts in the front cross bar was a terrible idea ... And you have to run a body to comp unless you're in a run what you brung class... It looks cool I have 3 of them but it's by no means a worthy comp rig to today's standards ..... No adjustability ... Fairly heavy ..... Too tall .... Too many negatives to compare to the positives ... It's not 60/40 no forward bias no angled skid ... Just some flat aluminum panels and some delrin .... Not much to bring home to mom ... All looks and no brain ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Purptr8r; 03-17-2015 at 12:12 AM. |
